Hannah is the founder of Hone Pilates. With 5 years of experience teaching Pilates, a background in dance, and a degree in Sports Studies, she is now conquering the world of small business ownership. Hannah loves how Pilates can complement all forms of movement and believes Reformer Pilates can be empowering and enjoyable for all.
When Hannah is not floating around the studio, she can be found cuddling her Cavapoo pup Serge and sipping strong flat whites.
Jess has over 13 years of experience in the fitness industry and is a strong advocate of Reformer Pilates. She has used her own practice to rehabilitate injuries and nurture her body before and after pregnancy. Her own experiences bring a wealth of knowledge to the team.
In her spare time, she keeps a close eye on the ‘chaos brigade’: her beautiful daughter Charlie, Cocker Spaniel Maggie and new addition, son Bertie.
Sara fell in love with Reformer Pilates on the other side of the world whilst travelling through Australia. She appreciates the way the Reformer can train her body to perform to the fullest and has created a balanced work-life by instructing classes and conditioning top athletes.
Sara also shares a love of fashion both in front and behind the camera; in her spare time, she works towards her degree in fashion buying and merchandising.
With over 20 years of personal Pilates practice and a lifelong commitment to fitness and wellbeing, Niki is a passionate advocate for healthy living and has a background in naturopathic nutrition. Niki's journey in the world of fitness began early, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the body’s potential and the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Now, Niki is thrilled to join the team at Hone, where she looks forward to supporting clients on their individual health and wellbeing journeys.
When Niki is not teaching or practicing Pilates, she is usually taking one of her children to one of their many classes, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen, the spicier the better!
Hope is a former professional dancer turned qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor. Having dedicated her entire life to movement, Hope fell in love with the dynamic and transformative nature of Reformer Pilates, and now dedicates her experience and expertise to help others feel their strongest and most confident version of themselves.
In her down time, Hope loves to prioritise movement - Pilates, running and strength based training - and enjoys going out for coffee and a pastry with family and friends.
Having grown up playing competitive sport with a keen interest in health and wellbeing, Christie immersed herself in the world of Pilates 3 years ago. She is passionate about the way Reformer Pilates fosters a deep mind-body connection, promoting better posture, mobility and strength within our bodies. Christie's classes will ensure a full body workout which leaves you feeling energised and strong.
When Christie is not teaching or taking part in a class, you will find her coffee and cake hopping around Edinburgh!
Tanith is a former ballet dancer who discovered pilates while living in Australia. Drawn to its emphasis on control, alignment and flow, she loved it so much that she trained as a mat and reformer instructor. With five years of experience teaching in boutique studios across Sydney and Scotland, Tanith’s classes are dynamic and focus on form, blending precise movement with just the right amount of high-intensity challenge. Through creative, full-body flows you're guaranteed to feel her signature burn.
Outside the studio, Tanith prioritises her own health and fitness - whether it’s Pilates, running, or strength training - and enjoys nothing more than sharing good food or coffee with friends and family.
Kayley, though new to reformer, has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She originally hails from Naples, Florida but trained and worked in the NYC fitness scene for several years before moving to Edinburgh in 2020. Kayley specialises in barre, bodyweight training & pre/post natal exercise but she loves all kinds of movement. She is very passionate about helping Mamas during pregnancy and beyond. In her classes, expect high energy and to feel pushed in a safe way.
Georgia’s love for Pilates began nearly a decade ago during her recovery from scoliosis surgery. She was drawn to its focus on mindful movement and body awareness - qualities that helped her reconnect with strength and mobility. As a qualified Physiotherapist, Georgia is a passionate advocate for movement as medicine, and she sees Pilates as the perfect platform to integrate therapeutic principles into everyday wellness.
Recently relocated from Australia, Georgia brings a touch of Aussie flair to her classes. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll likely find her exploring the beautiful sights of Edinburgh or baking something yummy in the kitchen.
Nikki is a former professional dancer who spent 8 years travelling the world and performing on stages across leading cruise lines. Life at sea was exilhirating but demanding, and it was there that she first discovered Pilates, a sanctuary that soon become a passion. Now a qualified Reformer and Barre instructor, Nikki is dedicated to sharing the transformative benefits of Pilates. She loves helping clients carve out time for themselves and reconnect with their bodies.
When she's not teaching, you'll likely find Nikki enjoying time with her four-legged fluffy niece, Lottie, sipping on a matcha, or indulging in her love of sushi.
